This ring was a bit of a challenge. A very dates cluster design with an unusually textured shank. The client loved a few elements of the original ring and wanted something more angular but still had a strict budget. We came up with the idea of keeping the shank, and inserting two gold strips to pave set the small diamonds and a bezel to set the center diamond. the ring was now wearable every day, had a more modern flavour and still retained some of the original design with its associated memories.

This gentleman came in with a ring that had horribly channel set diamonds in a ring that needed a lot of work to show the diamonds of various sizes. He also liked green gemstones. We had an incredible bright and lively tsavorite garnet. We used the existing ring and added a white gold, triangular shaped bezel for the garnet and then a white strip of golf to pave set the diamonds. the ring looked totally different and really showed off some previously hidden diamonds.

This ring was popular a long time ago. There must have been thousands sold but now they look very dated. This client wanted something updated and she really wanted a red gemstone such as ruby but was always told ruby would be too expensive. We remade the ring to show off the diamonds and found a very nice ruby that was very reasonably priced and set it into a bezel. The result is a ring that can be worn all the time and looks very clean and up to date.

This was a very difficult ring to rebuild. It had lots of sentimental value, was an antique and made of platinum but worst of all was in very worn condition. The metal was worn down and thinner than paper in many places. However, this was destined to be an engagement ring for a fiancee that wanted a sapphire. Find a beautiful rich sapphire was the easy part. We had to remake all the bezels, the side walls of the ring and new tips for the center sapphire. Also one of the marquis diamonds was chipped and finding a replacement with the exact measurements was a bit of a challenge. The finished ring turned out great. It looked like the original but in new condition. All the beaded edges were restored and the ring looked like it had new life.
